Australian artists Jillian and Peteris (Peter) Ciemitis use the face to imply fragments of narrative. Their work orbits around portraiture, departing in various trajectories of psychological investigations, form, figure and environment. The Ciemitis' joint art practice provides a platform to collaborate creatively whilst advancing their individual and commissioned work in photography, painting, drawing, printmaking and public art.
